Professionally recased retaining the backstrip but with a new lettering piece. faint tide mark affecting lower fore edge corner of pages 79 to 124 and 1 to 20 and just affecting a few letters of text, occasional small brown marks otherwise a very good presentable copy of a rare book. Rare English translation of Simon Tyssot de Patot's pseudonymously authored "Voyages et Aventures de Jacques Masse'", a Utopian adventure set in early 18th Century Australia, first published in French in 1710.
