Fine/Fine. First Edition. An excellent yarn by de Camp -- reprinted as half of an Ace Double with THE HAND OF ZEI, which really is the other half of this particular story. De Camp had a great sense of history -- this series is a very interesting retelling of the age of European conquest. This copy has several small tears to the edges of the dustjacket (and some spine fading), and a few faded areas on the edges of the cloth, but is a very presentable copy. Part of his Viagens series.
