Red, leather-textured cloth with gilt titling on the spine, gilt borders and horse shoe designs on the front cover. The spine shows tanning, fading to the gilt, light wear to the spine ends, cover corners; the inner hinges show cracking, and have been re-glued at some point, with some brown stains present on the front inner hinge; age-related tanning to page margins. This copy belonged to sportswoman & bookseller, Mrs. Grancel (Betty) Fitz, but is not signed by her. Seller Inventory # ABE-1387051383
