About this Item
A clean and crisp hardback first English edition in a dust jacket. Undated, but 1937. There is some foxing to all three edges, and to the opening leaves (especially the half title page), but the black boards are clean and sharp, the binding is secure and the main contents are clean. The dust jacket (with 8/6 on the spine) is clean but a little shelf worn: creased and chipped at the extremities, with a little loss at both the head and tail of the spine, and a couple of tears at the top of the lower cover (one on the left-hand edge, the other on the right). Overall, a nice hardback first English edition of the author's third novel, in a slightly worn jacket. This item will be properly packed. Seller Inventory # ABE-1502877350847
