All issues are complete and in solid condition. However, given their age, in some issues there may be the occasional partly loose page, and there may be a little edgewear. ABOUT TOWN does, however, represent a wonderful chronicle of life in the early 60s, just before the emergence of the counter-culture big bang, when men wore hats, cigarette advertisements abounded and brand new cars cost in the region of £700. In terms of condition, copies range from very good to fine. It should be pointed out that co-publisher, Michael Heseltine, became one of the most powerful men in Margaret Thatcher's government, and now sits in the House of Lords, a proud pro-European.
