Promotional booklet issued by the New York, Lake Erie & Western Railway with information on "reputable country homes, hotels, boarding and farm houses, their appointments and prices". There is town to town information for stops along the Eastern Division and branches as well as the Delaware Division. The booklet has many full-page and smaller engravings of scenery along the route including Newburgh Bay, Awasting Falls, Delaware Valley, Rock City and much more. This copy also includes a large folding color map of the route which measures 17 by 20 inches. There are also many interesting ads throughout the booklet. This is a good copy with some light edgewear to the covers and some chipping to the upper spine. The text is very good with a few folded corners and some light soiling. The map lacks a half-dollar sized piece at the right edge but is otherwise complete and in very good condition. Scarce. Seller Inventory # 11518
