Pictorial boards with black cloth spine, bottom of spine bumped, light shelf wear; matching dust jacket with fold wear, small losses, previous owner's name marked out, original price intact ($1.00) and "coupon" intact. A modern day classic and one of the first examples of the work of one picture book author/artist being illustrated by another.
