A novel of innocents abroad, and one of the first novels to feature the steamboat as a backdrop. 3/4 leather over marbled boards, marbled endpapers. A VG copy. Joints repaired, some minor spotting and foxing to text block, boards and spine leather darkened somewhat but a solid copy of a scarce title. OCLC locates 12 copies.
