Oblong Quarto (11 1/2 x 8 1/2"). 30 photogravure plates (7 1/2 x 6") Elaborate decorative cover with cut-out frame and decorative mat with gilt lettering with aquatint photograph laid down, and gilt image of the Dome of the Rock on back cover. Decorative endpapers. Photographic travel log with stunning photogravures depicting Jerusalem from various perspectives, with scenic views as well as points of interest, e.g. the Jaffa Gate, the Tower of David, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Valley of Tombs, the Ecce Homo Arch, the Mosque of Omar, the El-Aksa Mosque, the Wailing Wall, and others, as well as views of Bethlehem, the Dead Sea, Jericho, Bethany, Nazareth, and other sites. All thirty photogravures with debossed frame printed to heavy stock paper. Captions in German, Russian, French and English. Binding with light wear along edges and some scuffing of embossed frame, rubbed. Some age-toning along edges of endpapers. Binding in overall good, interior in very good condition. International First Class typically starts at $20. International Priority is typically $35 or less if under four pounds weight, and starts at $40 if over four pounds. International Express is a faster and more expensive option.
