Front endpapers are toned from inserted clipping (no longer present.) Foldout map frontis is of Western US States, black and white illustrations throughout. An early guide to how to harvest the sun's energy as a power source was possibly the first such book. First edition 1903. 160 pages, 5x7" smaller format.
