A very good condition first edition of The Sign of Four in a custom made case. A lovely copy. Rebound with the original bright, red cloth of the covers and spine. With gilt lettering and black decorations on the front covers and spine cloth. Small loss of the top of the original cloth of the spine. Circular mark on the rear board and light markings on the front cover. Replaced end papers. Small spot on the frontpiece illustration with intact tissue guard. Previous owners signature on the tile page dated 1891. Very clean contents. 283 pp with 32 pages of publishers advertisements at the rear of the book. Seller Inventory # 000882
