Debut book written by Susanne Hart (born 1927 in Austria, died 2010 in South Africa), South African veterinarian and environmentalist. She wrote the book two years after she and her husband moved to Kenya and built up a wildlife orphanage which became noteworthy for its pioneering operations on cheetahs and lions. Hart founded and championed the non-profit organisation Ecolink which supports children who lost their parents due to AIDS. First American edition in very good condition with some light sunning along the top edge and spine of the dust jacket which is protected in plastic transparency. Size: 6" - 9".
