First edition. Signed presentation copy from the author. 8vo. 32pp. publisher's catalogue listing this title at 7/6. Original black cloth lettered in gilt. Dust-jacket, with price-sticker 3/6 indicating second issue. A little light spotting, previous owner's name to front free endpaper; cloth slightly dulled at spine, otherwise VG; dust-jacket with closed descending tear to lower panel near spine, chipped at foot of spine and lower edge of lower panel with slight loss, overall VG. Dust-jacket artwork by Frank Sherwin. An appealing copy of this scarce work to find in the jacket, even with the second issue price-sticker as here; a borderline sci-fi title, with a nautical flavour. Inscribed on the title-page, 'A.T. Wall. With the Author's kind regards & compliments. E.F. Spanner.' Provenance: A.T. Wall (dedicatee of presentation inscription and his name on ffep). Not in Bleiler. Seller Inventory # 82432

Hard Cover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Presumed Later Edition. Bound in medium bwown cloth with border rules in black on upper board and lettering in black on spine. A nice copy: tips and spine ends barely touched, offsetting of endpapers, two tiny brown spots (foxing?) on fore edge of pages towards the end of the text block.
