Original binding of red and black patterned cloth with gilt lettering to spine. 2nd issue dustjacket without masthead of the Daily Beast. Indistinct 8 in publication date and as at bottom of page 88. Bookplate of Dorothy McIlwraith (?1891- 1976, former editor of Weird Tales magazine) to front pastedown. Top page edge dusty, endpapers and page edges slightly browned, otherwise the book is in very good condition in fair condition edgeworn dustjacket which has loss to head and tail of spine and corners and closed tear (50mm) to top panel. 419.
