The volumes in this set contain, among others, "The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle," "The Adventure of the Cardboard Box," and "The Adventure of the Final Problem." Conan Doyle's non-Sherlock works published in "The Strand" include "The Voices of Science" in Volume I and "The Tragedy of the Korosko" in Volume XIII. Volume III contains the first publication of Rudyard Kipling's short story "The Lost Legion."
