There is a paper online 'DR. GEORGE M. BEARD, PIONEER IN PSYCHOSOMATIC MEDICINE. There is only one quite rare printing of this book and a few modern sloppy reprints from India or whatever. The original is essential for Medical History collectors., The Book is really Very Good+ except for a spotting or discolor at bottom edge of front cover (see scan) otherwise bright and tight with name on end paper, contents no marks, no tears. The paper on Dr. Beard can be found here: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0033318272714681 The key point is that previously books on sea sickness concentrated on the bowels, symptoms and Beard was truly the first to locate the causes.
