Predominantly bright and square, the front being particularly attractive; spine darkened and the guilt rubbed, with minor incipient splitting at tail, but still presentable. Darkened, rubbed areas to rear board and corners. Front pastedown has school prize label, the whole covered with old blank page pasted over. Pale green design eps, browned and a little spotted. Otherwise, contents predominantly tight, bright and clean, an occasional indication of handling only, and Mercifully Free from Foxing. 379pp + ads.
