Édouard Herriot (1872-1957) was a French Radical politician of the Third Republic who served three times as Prime Minister and for many years as President of the Chamber of Deputies. Hérriot was born at Troyes, France. An ardent adherent of Soviet Russia, this book is an account of his trip to that country in 1922 and assisted in the promotion France's recognition of the Soviet Union.
