The second installment in Mishima's The Sea of Fertility, described as a cycle of four novels, a series that paints a literary picture of Japan in the twentieth century. A nice copy of the second novel in Mishima's final literary work, completed shortly before he committed suicide. A name and a small corner crease on the free front endpaper.
