Houghton Mifflin, 1942, Boston. Hardcover. First Edition/Third Printing. Very Good/Very Good This IS NOT a book club edition. The book is unmarked throughout but has tape ghosts on the endpapers. Cover shows rubbing wear.Minuscule damage on spine bottom. Else spine is tight, boards rigid and tips are pointed. The dust jacket is colorfully vibrant and not price clipped ($2.50) but has the remains of tape and tape ghosts on the back of the jacket (just a bit on the front) around all the edges from a previous dust jacket cover. Minor loss at spine top. Now looks spectacular in its shiny mylar dust protector. Shipping box is suitable for wrapping with a non-price listed purchase order inside along with biodegradable packing.
