About this Item
Addington Bruce was an American psychologist and author who wrote extensively on personality, the subconscious, and spiritualism. This is a nice copy of the 1909 first UK edition of his work exploring the self, personality, hypnotism and telepathy among other themes. Pages are overwhelmingly bright and clean. No inscriptions. A small old Foyles sticker on base of pastedown. Some age wear and a little foxing on initial pages only. A slight detachment of the base of page block from spine (see photos) but no obvious impact on firmness of binding overall. A little give. Boards are good, cover gilt writing very clear. A few splotches from age here and there. A little shelf wear and corner/spine crumpling. A good copy. See photos, all of which are of the copy for sale, we don't use stock photos.
