Inspired by Michael Fairless' (Margaret Fairless Barber) book "The Road Mender" and featuring the places in Sussex mentioned therein. First Edition 1924. A scarce item. Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition. Good (Covers - heavy shelf wear with nicks and creasing. Renovation work - the spine has been cleaned off and re glued with p.v.a. and lined internally to mask where loss mainly at head of spine and to reinforce the hinges.
