Hardback. vii + 832pp. Colour Frontispiece + B/w engravings both full page and within text. 1/2 tan calf over green/grey marbled boards. 5 raised bands with gilt decoration and black title label with gilt title to spine. Very slight bumps/rubs to extrems. . Minor foxing to some of the plates. Contemporary (1867) gift inscription to pre title page. Otherwise internally very clean, bright and tight. An extremely presentable copy.The Quiver was 1st published in 1861 and relaunched under new editorship in 1864.
