Spine lettered in gilt. Spine faded, head and foot lightly chipped. A good, clean copy. First edition of one of TennysonÕs best-known works, with such famous lyrics as ÒNow sleeps the crimson petal, now the white,Ó and ÒTears, idle tears.Ó This is also a work with themes of gender, with the heroine envisioning a future in which ÒThe man [may] be more of a woman, she of man.Ó Tinker 2067. Our office is located in Los Angeles on West Third Street, between the Beverly Center and Farmer's Market. Though we gave up an open shop after more than thirty years, we welcome serious customers and dealers. We are normally open from 10 to 6 Monday through Saturday.
