Tall, original single sheet poster measuring 11" wide x 17" tall. Details of this poster sourced from Roz Payne Sixties Archive. "This poster publicizes the "Phase 1" of the "Evict Nixon" campaign which featured a demonstration in Washington D.C. in August 1971. An estimated 1,000 - 1,500 protesters listened to speakers and marched towards the White HOuse. Around 300 were arrested by police including Milwaukee civil rights leader, Fr. James Groppi and anti-war activist , Rennie Davis."The poster is in good condition overall with one closed tear and general light wear. Faint creases and folds. Scarce anti-war protest ephemera.
