First edition in rare dust jacket of the Nobel Prize winning chemist's most important work, from the collection of another Nobel Prize winner (in Physics) Emilio Segrč with his ownership signature. Full crimson cloth with gilt titles to upper cover and spine, a fine clean tight copy, the only marking being Segre's ownership signature to the title page. The rare original printed dust jacket has a few chips and tears, the largest is approx 2 x 1 1/4 inches to the front panel as shown. Also laid in are two Nachtrags (addendums) in fine stapled wrappers from 1930 and 1931 which extend the 200 page book to 220 pages. Scarce in dust jacket, unique copy linking two Nobel Prize winning scientists. Text in German. Seller Inventory # 003117
