Published by The Oxford University Press in 1964. A First Edition. Hardcover. Size: 28.5 x 22 cms. One of a series of books tracing the stories of different countries. This from the founding of the Slav settlements to the modern day and early space travel. Condition: Near Fine. Both cover and jacket are, but for small flaws, very fresh. The jacket has been protected with plastic but this protection can easily be removed. The jacket is not price clipped. The edges of the textblock are speckled with foxing but the pages themselves are clean having the appearance of being unread. The book is beautifully illustrated on every page.
