Early, if not first printing. aka An Outline of Philosophy. The text block is solid, clean and square. Endpapers are clear of markings with NO previous owner's signature. Spine is stiff and appears unread, boards rigid and tips pointed.Just a bit of foxing on the top of the text block and the tiniest of tanning on the endpapers. It is a beautiful copy! Enclosed is a postcard inviting the recipient to a convocation in which Mr. Mei Lan-Fang will be granted an honorary degree from Pomona College. This book appears to have been a part of a collection from the estate of Mr. Mei Lan-Fang. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped and has no tears or fray, though bit of shelf wear and tiny loss here and there on edges and at center cover and spine ends and at tips. The reason this is probably a first printing is that the dust jacket cover say "Norton.announces.this book" but subsequent dust jackets remove the announcement part and put in the printing.i.e. "Third Printing.15,000." Looks dashing in its shiny new plastic cover. Shipping box is suitable for wrapping with a non-price listed purchase order inside along with biodegradable packing. Seller Inventory # 000896
