Undated [1923]. First edition, first printing. Hardback, bound in the original red cloth with gilt titling to spine. 22 × 14cm, xii + 291pp. A collection of articles and addresses by Lloyd George considering reparations from Germany in the aftermath of the Great War and also a warning how the Treaty of Versailles and the harsh demands made of the German people were sowing dangerous seeds for the future. Condition: A good, solid readable copy, but with some mottled fading to the fore-edge of the front and rear boards, and some inoffensive pencil annotations to the margins. Seller Inventory # 014166
