About this Item
A Near Fine copy in a Very Good plus unclipped dust jacket with some spotting to the jacket spine and some shallow chipping to edges and a closed edge tear to spine. Paul Rosenfeld became a prolific journalist, writing on literature and art as well as music from the 1910s through the 1940s. He was one of the Alfred Stieglitz circle, and favoured an intellectually heavyweight and quite European approach. This collection of essays, letters and remembrances of the noted art and literature critic includes pieces and hommages by Edmund Wilson, John Marin, Sherwood Anderson, e.e. cummings, Malcolm Cowley, Robert Penn Warren, William Carlos Williams, Wallace Stevens and many others.
