Gift quality first edition hardcover in red cloth covered boards with black titles. Not exlib. Foot of spine barely bumped, all other extremities still sharp. Small 1/4" closed tear or break in the cloth approx 1" up from foot of frt board fore-edge. Tidy name/date on fep, remainder of 268pp text is clean, crisp and unmarked, no tears or soil. Un-clipped color illustrated jacket has wrap around art and a matching closed tear that was described above on the lower frt board fore-edge. Color loss at tatty spine ends and along rear flap fold, now in new mylar. Larry is taught to ride at his uncle's ranch an is given the pinto Patches to be his mount in cattle roundups, polo matches and horse races. Seller Inventory # R46597
