An early Dahl. Dahl's second printed book (after Gremlins). The British version Short stories based on flying and undoubtedly based on his WW2 experiences as a fighter pilot primarily in Africa and Greece. Royal blue boards with gilt titles to the spine. There are no inscriptions and it is very clean and tight. The dustjacket has chips and edgewear and the cloth boards are subsequently faded at those points. I have collected Dahl books for years and now selling them, including many signed editions. Seller Inventory # 0023582
