Tearing, creasing and chipping on wraps. Bottom third of backstrip missing. Very slight foxing throughout . Pages partly unopened as issued. Title-page vignette. Decorative initials and tailpieces. Text in Italian. Overall, wraps in fair, interior in very good condition. Essay by Baron Manno intitled "Les Roses et la Medaille au collier de l'Ordre de la Savoie", published in Thonon (France) by Imprimerie A. Dubouloz (1886), laid in. Booklet of 9 pages in very good condition. Text in French. Note: Baron Giuseppe MANNO (1786-1868), political, historical and literary Italian, held the post of President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Sardinia, and later, of the Kingdom of Italy.
