A very good set of the 13 volumes of this. well illustrated, family encyclopedia, which started publication in1964, plus two annual year books for 1965 and 1966. Volumes 1-4 (Children), 5-7 (Science), 8-13 (General Reference). No Dust Jackets. Covers: quarter maroon coloured buckram over cream coloured paper covered boards, with gilt lettering and decorative tooling to front and spine; very bright and clean for their age; relatively few signs of shelf wear; slight bow to some boards. Internally: very clean and tightly bound; no markings, inscriptions or book plates; in remarkably good condition for their age; perhaps slightest darkening to page edges. Illustrated throughout in black and white and some colour. A very large and heavy set which will incur increased postage charges.
