A true FIRST EDITION, first printing from 1960, listing to self in front matter & on rear DJ flap, to ND #36 on rear DJ flap). Hardcover with green-blue tweed cloth-covered boards has the original text, flashlight endpapers, plain frontis, 20 chapters,182 pages. Condition is Near Fine, marred only by 1) slight rubbing to extremities, including bumping to corners & both ends of spine, & 2) former owner's name in pen on 2 half title pages. Very clean, pages creamy white with a whisper of tanning. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. The unclipped DJ is bright & colorful, but downgraded to just Good due to large missing chips at both top & bottom of spine. Looks lovely protected in new mylar cover Free!
