Desert Island and other nearby islands, edited by Samuel A. Eliot. Good solid information about Champlain, St. Croix, and the St. Lawrence area in that area between old New France and New England. Still a classic history of the region. Spine lightly sun faded; some scuffing at top and bottom of spine; corners lightly bumped; several rear pages have a short tear at middle top margin; o/w in VG+ condition, with a bright and clean interior.
