24 issues of this early 19th century English Book Trade Journal bound in one volume, No's 27, 38 and 42 reproduced in facsimile. Very good in half leather over marbled boards. The binding has been professionally restored, original boards rebacked with soft calf and a green leather label with gilt title; the end papers have been replaced and the hinges reinforced. The original pages are clean and crisp. 'Works Now First Published' are listed, along with new editions, 'Works in the Press' and 'Literary Intelligence' previewing new releases. Occasional marginal marks reveal a previous owner's interest in Sir Walter Scott, Robert Southey and William Wordsworth. A fascinating collection for any student of literature.
