True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (15s). Translated from the French by Robin Chancellor. Illustrated. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a few small marks, patchy browning (including to spine), a couple of very small (approx. 3mms) tears, the odd small crease/rub to edges, a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, browning/minor foxing/odd small mark to reverse (white side), little pushing/bumping to corners, little creasing/odd small mark/spot of foxing to front/back inner flaps and is in only good condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and a little pushing/rubbing to (mainly) head and tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages are a little tanned. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages.
