A collection of the beautiful illustrations of one of the founders of the Pre-Raphelite Brotherhood, John Everett Millais, engraved by the Dalziel Brothers and Joseph Swain. All edges gilt. Small marks on covers and endpapers. Corners and bottom edge slightly bumped. Decorative border and title in gilt on front cover, slightly tarnished. Same border blind-stamped on back cover. With bookplate of typographer, book designer, illustrator, and historian on printing John Lewis, F.S.I.A, who also wrote the article `The Role of the Printer` for the Journal of the Royal Society of Arts in 1958. Also with bookplate of Agnes Wildes. Bound by Burn, 37 & 38 Kirby St., with their stamp. Minor foxing on the first few and last few pages. Plates in clean and bright condition. Seller Inventory # 182
