Originally serialized in Astounding Stories, this is the 1947 hardcover first book publication by Hadley Publishing Company, with its first issue Hadley dust jacket. This book is in near fine condition, marred only by a light bump on the cover's back top corner, light bumps on its spine ends, and a slightly "cocked" spine (some lean at its top, but not at its bottom.) Its binding is sound, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn, with no apparent wear to the gilt titles on its spine. Pages are unmarked and unworn. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is also in near fine condition: whole and unmarked, with a trace of sunfade on its spine, and some light wear on the ends of its spine and front flap fold, but otherwise bright and unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description. Seller Inventory # 003244
