Measures about 5" x 7". Silk, black, cloth covered semi flexible boards with gold lettering on front panel. No lettering on spine. 63 pages. Marbled endpapers. Illustrated with photographs. No odor. No foxing. This book came from the estate of Fred Spector, a well known and long time violinist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. A number 157 (presumably a limited edition) and "for the exclusive use" of (filled in) Stanley Kaplen (illegible signature presumably a dealer of violins) and dated 1937 in fountain pen.
