First edition, acting edition. 12mo. 96pp. Green printed wrappers. Frontispiece reproducing a black and white photograph of a scene from the Broadway performance. Covers have moderate tanning on spine, else a very good or better copy. Clare Boothe Luce was a playwright, journalist and Congresswoman. Also published in the same year, by Random House, in a trade issue, priority in undetermined. Directed by Otto Preminger, *Margin for Error* involves the murder of the German Consul, set in New York in 1939. It was made into a film of the same name, in 1943, also directed by Preminger.
