Add to basketFirst UK Edition. Publisher's brown boards with black lettering to the spine. A touch of foxing to the top and fore edges otherwise a bright and clean book that is in near fine condition (with no inscriptions). The dust wrapper is priced 7s 6d net to the inside flap (as called for) and is frayed/creased at the head of the spine with a tiny chip from the bottom right-hand corner of the spine. A much nicer copy than normally seen of this notoriously fragile early war-time Simenon. In our experience one of the scarcest titles in the Simenon canon. Scarce. Photographs/scans available upon request.
