4to hardcover volume with illustrated paper boards. Cloth spine present but splitting front board has some light scratches and corner wear. Back board has some soiling and pencil markings. Back cover somewhat loose from cloth splitting. This has 52 pages of text in black and white and 8 color plates for 60 pages total. One color ate has a small hole and last black and white page has a tear on lower inner edge. Some pages are loose. A very rare childrens book we could find no copies or info on it other than it was published in 1909. The boys name is Willie Wimple. The cover was printed by Alf Cooke in London.
