First published 1931 by William Morrow and Company, stated; plan of central London endpapers; top page edges tinted green (here with some fading). A former owner's name on the inside front board and front endpaper, else unmarked; spine slant; corners sharp, spine ends bumped with some wear; the gold is gone from the lettering on the spine and partially on the front board; a small stain to the bottom page edges. The fragile dust jacket is not price-clipped (original price $2.50) but has been tape repaired to reattach the front flap; heavily chipped and edgeworn with multiple long closed tears; much of the top inch is missing; Brodart protected.
