Tissued frontispiece, engraved title, and thirty-eight plates by H. K. Browne (Phiz). First edition with the errata on page xiv; with "William" for "Frederick" on page 317 line 27; with "Rigaud" instead of "Blandois" from pages 469 to 473; and with signature BB2 misprinted as "B2" on page 371. With the bookplate of the Marchese di Calvatone Sommi Picenardi. Old bookstore label affixed on the front free endpaper.
