Each of the nine volumes with foxing through out, does not disturb the contents. Pencil notations early in volume 1, Volume 8 & 9 with internal small turned corners, about 15 to 20 leafs each volume. Leather spine and leather corners with some edge and corner wear, not bad for the age. Decorative hard covers with same decoration on the end papers. Top of leafs with gilt edges, gilt lettering on spine in decent condition and readable on all. All copies with cloth page markers. Clean and tight inside except for the foxing. First edition, nice collectible set with rare publisher, will look very handsome on your first edition shelf. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 005063
