Contents are very Good clean & tight, minor dirt to edges of a few pages. Most pages uncut, so unread. Includes two steel engravings to front in good condition one a full page portrait of Dryden from Sir G Kneller. Only Tissue paper between engravings poor. This biography of John Dryden is complete in this volume , Title to spine "Sir Walter Scott's Prose Works, vol. 1. New edition with note &c Plates , Life of Dryden."
