First edition. viii, 944pp (continuously paginated). Two volumes bound in three. Modern gray cloth with raised bands, paper spine labels, numbered in black, with yellow patterned paper; new pale green endpapers to first two books. Text in German. Very Good overall with exposed tips, slightly curved boards, apparently a single photo page before first page of first volume excised. Many tissue-guarded b/w photographs and fold-out facsimile letters. The famous philosopher's biography, written by his beloved sister who is often remembered as a co-founder of the Nueva Germania colony in South America. Rare. Seller Inventory # 170618003
