Includes most of the lyrics recorded with The Birthday Party and The Bad Seeds [up to time of first publication], plus a large number of lyrics which have never been recorded or which were commissioned by other bands. Also included are several prose pieces, nine individual short plays, and a sequence of five plays on the Salome legend. Includes some facsimile handwritten lyrics, Nick Cave's first book.
